Review - Please try to include as many specific details as you can: I purchased this guitar because I got a great deal on it. It's an $800 guitar and I got it for less than 1/2 price. Problem was the action was terrible. I had the neck adjusted and after that the finish started cracking around where the neck attaches to the body. Took it back and the gave me a hard time saying I must have not had enough humidity on it. (only had it 3 weeks). They agreed to exchange it with another one they had at another store. It showed up with the same problem. They let me get an Alvarez instead. Sound on the Yamaha was not very good if you played it hard. Not bad if played softly. It was really difficult to play.

Additional Comments/Final Verdict: I suspect this was an isolated problem and want to give Yamaha the benefit of the doubt as they have a good reputation for craftsmanship. I might reconsider another one of these but would need to get one without problems
