Review - Please try to include as many specific details as you can: I went into the music shop looking for an Epiphone (I don't have the money at this point in life for the top of the line). The salesman told me Samick makes most of the guitars built overseas, including Epiphone and that their own guitars are built exactly like the big names. He had some Samicks in-stock that I got to play and to my surprise, they had the sound and the quality I was looking for. I was so impressed with them that I bought the MJ10 unseen and "unplayed". I did goto Samick's web site to find a style I wanted and do more research prior to buying. I fell in love with the 2003 MJ10-CE's style. I prefer the rounded cutaway instead of the pointed one like on the Samick Blackbird. I guess they have changed the style now (at least it appears to be changed according to the web site this year). I can't tell you how happy I am with the quality of sound that comes from this guitar. It pounds the lowest low's and sings the highest high's. I actually plugged it in the other day for a little show and was even more impressed hearing it amplified. It's designed exactly like some of theother big names, but it doesn't have the big name price. When I found out that Samick makes the overseas big names, and heard the quality of their own name guitar, the choice was not hard at all. My friends that play Martins and Gibsons all love the sound as well. I'm a fan of Samick for life if they keep making guitars like this.
Rating (On a Scale of 1-10): 10
Additional Comments/Final Verdict: "unplugged" or amplified... I LOVE IT!
