Review - Please try to include as many specific details as you can: Yeah it includes a footswitch, but it's made of cheap plastic, and wrongfuly labeled. The damping and power switches are a PLUS, but the footswitch still sucks. I wish it had an Acutronics Reverb instead of the digital. The amp is built like a rock! factory QC seems good for the last 20years... I bet this amp will last a few years before it goes out. I would gig without a backup (anyways i'm selling my backup!). It's versatile, good clean tone and nice overdrive type lead chanel, the amp is very sensitive to dynamics, and i play with mucho bends and vibratos!, Yeah this amp can get you THERE! I will be using a lot the clean chanel it's ultra clean and airy at high volumes. I Use a Warlock guitar with DiMarzio X2N and Air Norton 2 PU's, and a BOSS BF1 and works just fine for me I play in a progressive rock jazz band.
Rating (On a Scale of 1-10): 7
Additional Comments/Final Verdict: I expect to take a good 5 years with the amp, I might even replace it, I still hope to buy a MESA in a year or so. Read more Peavey XL Supreme Guitar Amp Head reviews at Zzounds (Please note some products may not have reviews)
