Review - Please try to include as many specific details as you can:  This has every thing you would expect on a $1800 mesa or even a $2000 marshall. also has a built in noise gate which is rare on any head.  This or the triplle xxx are probaly the best two heads for less than $1600. its built solid. like any peavey it last for years and years. the construction is similar to the xxx, which i own and know for a fact will take a licken and keeep on kicken.   Ive played it at the store here in town ive played it with les pauls. fender strats and teles. and a number of peavey guitars even some cheap ones ande it sounds good with all.

Additional Comments/Final Verdict: there have been better heads made this is the best ive heard in recent years. this head has kind of a marshall tone to it{you can get other sounds too} if your looking more for mesa type sound buy the tripple xxx
