Review - Please try to include as many specific details as you can: This is the best tele on the market by far for the price, and it's USA made. New hot pickups overwound keep all the tele original twang on the bridge pickup, and give smooth, creamy sound on the neck pickup, but these pickups are made to handle distortion for you rock players. Great sound. This tele also has Jumbo frets for smoother, faster playing, and easier string bends.
The finish is nitro-cellulose, just like the Gibsons, although the finish is not shiny, it is a satin-matte finish, which in sunburst still looks very nice, I replaced the white pickguard with a brown shell one, and it improved the appearance. This guitar also has Grease Bucket circuitry, which lets you roll of the tone, yet not add bass, it maintains the integrity of the sound. The craftsmanship is super, set-up was near perfect right out of the box, I only lowered the strings a little. Intonation was right on. This guitar is tough, and waiting to be played, and abused. A real bargain, if you\'re looking for a Fender, give this Highway One tele a ride, worth more than the price for this near perfect workhorse, with great sound, action, and appearance, and its USA made. Fender could have thrown in a case though.
Rating: 9
Additional Comments/Final Verdict: Made in USA tele, made to be played with great neck (maple) jumbo frets, new hot pickups, and nitro-cellulose finish.
