Review - Please try to include as many specific details as you can: Not a bad guitar for the money, however I am not sure if something is wrong with it, can't seem to keep the tune in tack. I took it in several times and where I bought it from kept telling me nothing is wrong, I took it to another guitar shop and they also said nothing is wrong, I even brought it to my Church and lead guitar player looked at it and he thinks its a great guitar. One of the best he's seen for that price range......so I have concluded that it must be me that feeling this......I have Ovation guitar and nothing like it comparing tomy SG....my Ovation will keep the tune for weeks or months.
Any idea to why I am thinking something is wrong with my SG?
Rating (On a Scale of 1-10): 6
Additional Comments/Final Verdict: It was recommended to me highly by Guitar Center and others.....but I think I will stick to Gibson or Fender....

Review - Please try to include as many specific details as you can: I bought this guitar at a pawn shop in perfect shape. Like the other SG in the lineup..it would not stay in tune. As I can remember that the lower end Gibson and Epiphone guitars all have junk tuners when bought from the factory (they have plastic tuning heads) even on the Gibson les pauls..that run 1500 or more. hmm..I went to stewmac.com and bought new tuners for 50 bucks ....then success WOW what a difference.

Additional Comments/Final Verdict: if you want to see pictures of guitar ..i will send them to you. thanks

Review - Please try to include as many specific details as you can: the guitar looks nice, but in my humble opinion, if you are an sg fanatic, you are gonna miss the pickguard. it looks so much nicer with the pickguard and you are gonna miss it when you start looking at the scratches. dont forget this guitar does not have the four knobs for volume and tone for each pick up (just one for the volume of the two pickups and one for the tone). i find the pickups a little noisy when you turn the volume up. the knobs are a perfect replic of the ones you can find on a gibson. that´s nice. for the price you can´t ask for more. the weight of the guitar is fine because it is not too heavy and not too light compared to a fender strat taht is much more heavy, so if you have to play for a long time on your feet you are not gonna feel your shoulder popin´out. i recomend this guitar to a beginner. if you are a more experienced player, you should save a little more money and buy something else.
Rating (On a Scale of 1-10): 6
Additional Comments/Final Verdict: good guitar for the price but if you can save a little more money buy another guitar.
