Review - Please try to include as many specific details as you can: The best performance per price acoustic electric guitar out there. Before I bought this I had just purchased a $600 Ibanez AW500CENT that I ended up taking back. I spent the extra money buying a Roland AC60 Acoustic amp, also another best for the money purchase. The Earth is very simple but performs beautifully with a Solid Spruce Top and Mahogany back, sides, and neck. The Diecast tuners don't look bad though with the black body bracing and pearl dot inlays. It stays in tune much longer than any other guitar I've had and has great action, making itso much easier to play. I use light elixirs w/ nanoweb and this seems to getthe best sound and sustain. The guitars dreadnought style, natural finish, and bracing are perfect unplugged. I've heard Cort uses only Fisman pickups since 2002 but these pickups aren't branded they just say Cort on them.
Rating (On a Scale of 1-10): 8
Additional Comments/Final Verdict: Trust me, if you're buying an acoustic for the first time, you definitely want a solid spruce top and this is the best buy, hands down, for the price. Everytime someone plays it they always comment on how nice it is and that it must be an expensive guitar. It's not the most beautiful guitar out there, but who cares about looks if it sounds horrible? The only reason I didn't rate it higher was because I haven't played any thousand dollar acoustics yet, so I'm not sure how to compare them with this cort. They don't make this model anymore exactly, but it looks like the Cort AD870 except with electric pickups. You can check it out at Corts website formore info. P.S. My roommate had an acoustic yamaha that he payed $450 for. After playing mine, he went out and bought the MR-740FX cutaway model w/ glossy finish and fishman matrix pickups for a little more than $400 on ebay. Basically, he converted.
