Review - Please try to include as many specific details as you can: Was at the Music Broker, checking out guitars, when I spotted a Park amplifier for $70. I had been planning to buy a Marshall AVT-50. The Park wasn't that great, so the sale dude steered me towards the Behringer. I started playing it and kinda liked it. And it was a 120 watts, much bigger than the Marshall ( over $500 ). Then I discovered the amp-modelling. It was just like my SansAmp GT2, built right into this amp. It lets me simulate a Marshall, Fender or Mesa Boogie, and different types of cabinets, as well. Well, that was pretty cool. I was getting some pretty cool sounds out of it, and then the sales dude showed me the built-in effects. Two channels and 99 presets - flangers, chorus, delay, reverb, octave doublers, compression, you name it. That pretty much did it. Then he said he could let me have it for $150 out the door. Damn. Couldn't pass that up. I've played it for a couple weeks now, and I just love it. I've got a CD player on top and I jam along with Motley Crue through the headphone jack, have another output running to my four-track cassette studio, and the included foot switch lets me switch between two different effects on the two different channels. I love this amp! I can't understand how they can pack so many features in for this price ( retail $399 ). Plus, copies of the owner's manual and spec sheets and other stuff is all available online for download. With the Seymour Duncan SH-5 Custom pickup in my Les Paul, I've dialed in a perfect AC/DC, Scorps, Gary Moore tone. Also nailed a clean guitar Jimmy Page sound and several others. So I'm selling my SansAmp ( which cost more new than this whole amplifier ) because it's no longer necessary. I plug straight into the amp with no stomp-boxes for the first time in 25 years and I get a great hard rock tone! And it's German-built ( think Mercedes ) so it's alledgedly tough as a tank. Try one out, I bet you'll love it as much as I do.
Rating (On a Scale of 1-10): 10
Additional Comments/Final Verdict: I love this amp and don't think you can find anything better!
