Review: This must be a discontinued Alvarez model: Thin Body-3", Spruce Top, Cutaway, with 3 band equalizer pickup. 22 accessible frets. Mahogany back. Rosewood fretboard. Made in China. This is my first classical guitar. Although I have used other good sounding full body classicals... because they are full body, I consider this thin body Alvarez comparatively good in resonance, very responsive in bass and mellow treble strings. It gives my solo playing a lot of feeling either plugged in ornot. It is a guitar that you get the best of both worlds. I have performed onstage with this guitar and have been admired by its sound and its shape. I do love this guitar and as it ages with me, the sound should get better considering the characteristic of aging spruce wood.

Additional Comments/Final Verdict: I own this guitar for the past 2 years onlyand I have learned a lot of solo playing as compared to using the steel guitars that I have owned for the past 10 years.
